I keep crashing when using DX11 , Vulkan is fine but the perfomance is not on par with DX11.

Yeah, just did the achievement on world conquest now - almost unplayable on Vulcan.
If you have Windows 11 24H2 then Vulkan is one of the workarounds people have found to help with the crashes and freezes that Windows version causes.

Some affected users have definitely seen that help them with this issue. I'd suggest you look at this step first!
The CK3 devs are aware of the issue of course, but I don't know whether it is thought possible to change the game to work around the Windows 11 bugs.

This may have some fixes. not 100% fool proof but it may have the fixes that maybe relevant. I am trying to make a mega thread for Paradox so they know this is a massive issue and for some reason haven't made a mega thread (because logic)

There are 'two' fixes, but one of them requried you to make a registry edit that may affect other stuff. I wouldn't suggest it. Either Vulkan or, well, tank the crashes I guess.

I am currently testing a "fix" for this specific issue where the mouse becomes "drunk" and the whole computer freezes. If this works I will provide an update in a few hours and credit the streamer.
