I was wondering if it were possible to activate a copy of Crusader Kings 2 on Steam that was originally purchased from GamersGate, after it has already been activated on the GG site? The only reason I ask is that I have been unable to use the GamersGate ingame store to purchase DLC, as it will not allow me to log-on, even though I have allowed the ck2.exe (and the launcher, if that matters) access through my firewall (on the correct ports 1630-1641 on TCP and UDP). I was hoping that it were possible to convert my copy to Steam, just to be able to purchase any of the DLC. I don't even care about getting the free/bonus DLC packs that were included in my pre-order from GG. If I can't transfer my game to steam, would it be possible to purchase the DLCs from Steam separately, and manually move them into the GamersGate versions DLC folder? After browsing the CK2 forums, I realize that I am probably the only person who is unable to access the GG ingame store, and that it may sound a bit self-serving of me, but I implore Paradox Interactive to abandon the 'ingame store-only' sales method. I would readily purchase most/all of the DLCs if I could buy them separately and manually install them within the game's directory. I am sure that other people, even those who can actually log-into the ingame store, would appreciate an alternate means of purchasing downloadable content. I would even use blue-coins if that was what was necessary. EDIT: I noticed that the ggstore DAT file in my CK2 main directory was empty (Zero KB), if that matters. Also, there is no ggcoins.dll file either, unlike other games (HOI3) that have an in-game store.
