is it possible to change the time speed in a MP game?

i know its possible to change the time speed in a single player
game with ctr + + and ctr + -, but me and my friend cant seem
to be able to do it once a MP game has been started!
anyone know if its possible?

The speed can't be changed. All you can do is pause the game.

decided that before the game if you play MP.

yeah, we do set the time speed before the game.
but sometimes, when we are all in a period of the game
where nothing much happends. saving, quitting,setting new
time speed and the reloading gets kinda tiresome..

a fine adjustment to an already fine game would
be to incorporate the possibility to set the game speed
to the slowest speed chosen by any one player.
either as an option before the game is loaded or
hardcode it

oh well...just me rambling
