I want to make an army attachment that will perform better on say an ocean world rather than a continental world. Is this possible? At first I thought it was but now I think about it I'm not so sure.

At first I was thinking I could do something like

modifier = {
is_planet_class = pc_ocean
army_damage_mult = 0.15
}

but I think now that the is_planet_class is more of a conditional to do with interacting with the planet directly and that armies are considered separate. Any help is appreciated, cheers.

I think you have the right idea, but I assume you would need to run the is_planet_class conditional "within the scope" of the planet, i.e. tell the game which planet you want it to look at. I'm not sure exactly how you would do that from an army attachment, but you can find some of the different scopes available here: http://www.stellariswiki.com/Scopes

There is one (every_planet_army) that scopes to all armies on a planet, so possibly the opposite can be done as well.
