Can I have both DAIM and vanilla Doomsday 1.2 installed. So that I can play 1936, 1938, 1939 scenarios without DAIM in multiplayer for example, but I can also play DAIM. Is it possible to play DAIM in a LAN multiplayer game?

you could create 2 diferent folders, install vanill DD patch it, then copy it and make anotehr folder to paste it in, that way you could have a vanila DD and the other folder put DAIM in.

Of course :)
And two folders of hoi , one with DAIM and one without ist the best way

Spocky

I have been doing this for over 6 months now. I have 5 different folders of vanilla DD and DAIM with modifications. There is no problem so long as you have enough hard drive space and can keep track of which game is which.

Yep, I'm at 4 instances of DD/DD:A right now. :)

Only? I've got 12 different folders which non of them contains the original game. :p

I don't know if this have been said here before, but I'm running DAIM with SMEP 5 beta 4 on ARMA and it works like a charm, just so you know. :)

Using JSGME is far easier then having one copy for each version you play ;)
