So how do I know CORE is working? I cant tell the difference.

Then, no, it's not. Different graphics are the most obvious signal.

You do need to start the game using the CORE short cut, not just run the game as normal, since CORE runs in a mod-dir format. That would my likeliest suspicion as to why you aren't seeing anything different.

Ok, I must be missing something here. I don't see how to run CORE. There is no shortcut, and there is no .exe in the 0.32 DD folder under my Doomsday installation.

Could someone help me out here? Thanks in advance.

Is there a shortcut to CORE on your desktop? If you ran the installer, there should be.

there was no installer. i dl'd the mod from a thread in this forum. where can i get the proper version instead then? the one I got was a .rar archive.

nvm, i went to terranova and searched around in there and found it. i dont see any links in that thread anyways, in which i looked several times.
