As I understood it, going Below is the same as the surface minus light and some earthquakes instead of meteors. And for the construction one needs some rare resources one finds on asteroids. So basically one mines asteroids in order to have more underground domes?

I liked the Terraforming DLC a lot, because it added something completely new. Does this have new things or am I just doing more of the same, but in different places?

Serious question, because 20 € seems quite a lot for rather thin content.

I am thinking no at the moment. The game has been badly borked by bugs with this release and the content does indeed feel a bit thin. The ideas all seem interesting, but mostly just doing the same thing somewhere else, with a timer on one of them.
I read a great breakdown on the games Reddit page. Helped make up my mind.
I will wait for a sale personally, but I do tend to wait for sales on DLC's to begin with.

Haven't bought it, don't plan to until the game is at least moderately fixed - and SM is one of my favourite games, so it really pains me to say that.

Really disappointed overall at how badly this release was handled. Confirmed all of my fears, really

Same here. SM is a lovely colony-building game and it pains me to see, how it gets treated now. It would have deserved better.

I mean. Going "Beyond" is a great idea. But doesn`t the Mars have moons? So what about a large spaceport for daughter colonies or even deep space exploration missions? So much potential wasted.

The DLC does add a lot of cool new places to build. Not a massive amount of new content, but still a nice change of scenery that gives you more places and anomalies to explore and things to do. I quite like it. Unfortunately it has also introduced a whole bunch of bugs, so wait with buying to see if they fix it.

Yeah, I'm waiting to see how many of the issues they introduced with the patch get resolved with the hotfix...

Currently can't continue my previous game (due to the inability to send passenger rockets bug), don't want to start a new game (in case that gets broken by the patch) , plus I *wanted* to try the new content (to the point of wishlisting both the new DLCs on Steam) - at least I did before I saw the 'known issues' in the patch notes.

Will have to play something else for now, I guess... :/

Short answer is: It would be, if it worked. We'll see what the fix on Monday will give us.

Did this update mess up camera controls too? If I press forward and rotate it rotates and tilts down, backwards and rotate it rotates and tilts up.
Similar to pressing middle mouse button, press it and press to move forward and it tilts.
Am I the only one with this issue?

Can you by any change link that reddit breakdown?

I would like to get the dlc but I won't play it until it's fixed. In patient.

I just bought the base game, played 100 hours in a week, and just realized there are never any disasters (despite me setting them all to max).

Won't play the game at all until a lot of this stuff is fixed. Would like to play with b&b really.

Could you share that reddit discussion? Also, any idea how long it usually takes this developer to fix up releases?

the disasters are a known issue, it does not matter if you set it to max or search for a map with almost max settings. it will not trigger. they hope to fix this issue on Monday. And it will not be the last patch, i guess. see this forum at the top "hotfix 2 on Monday". also i am sad to say that (not only) paradox has known bugs in their games for years. i just hope the community and paradox or rather the devs see the same bugs as a priority fix.
