The capital city of My area has a population of 1 million.
With a total number of schools = 220
54% of number of schools is Elementary
There are 238,470 people between the ages of 0 and 19.
There are 167,000 students in Elementary, Kindergarten and High School. 16.7% of population.
160,000 x .167 = 26,720 40,000/160,000 = 25%
But if all the kids go to school from 0 to 19 (238,000) that would be 23.8% of the population.
The thing is in Edmonton there still aren't enough schools to be optimal. So this is underfunded.
Of course we don't have 0 to 4 going to school in real life 61,000 kids. But start em' young!
I don't know what age qualifies for kids in school in CS2.
