Hi all,

Apologies for the blunt question, but I have been scouring the 'net for a good list of changes in CK2Plus to no avail. I noticed that there USED to be a wikia available for the mod which seems to no longer exist.

Question is simple: Is there a location where changes are actually listed? I'm not talking about the list on the CK2 Wiki either, that is pretty high-level stuff. I mean deeper questions like:

- What were the changes related to raiding? Is a 500ish stack of raiders per province still optimal? What (if anything) increases/decreases rate of loot accrual?
- What are the changes related to reforming pagan religions (specifically Norse in my case, but other religions would be good to know as well)? Is the Religious Head still a ducal title, or is it a kingdom title?
- Is there a list of kingdoms/empires that we can create? For example, I played a game with Asturias and went on to create the Kingdom of Leon (which destroyed the Kingdom of Asturias), which was a nice touch of flavor.
- Any additional CBs to look out for?

Thanks in advance! I am really enjoying this mod in any case. :)

Yep, I was in the same boat as you not long ago. Unfortunately you're going to find little to no information out there for CK2+ and the changes that it makes, not that it's anyone's fault. CK2+ isn't just it's own mod, it's a whole bunch of mods created by different people on top of the groundwork of CK2+ itself. Obviously, documenting that type of developmental chaos would be extremely difficult and time-consuming.

Fortunately with a bit of know-how and some patience you can find out a lot yourself. In your CK2 mod folder (usually found in My Documents > Paradox Interactive > Crusader Kings II > Mod) you can open up the CK2+ directory and browse the various folders for the applicable .txt files.

I'll just quickly list where you can find the stuff you mentioned.

Raiding:

I couldn't find anything different in regard to raiding/looting/sacking. Generally, CK2+ makes an effort to improve or refine elements of the base game. It could be argued that raiding in the base game is pretty much perfect, and as such didn't require changes.

However, reformed pagans can no longer raid. This is of course ignored if the government (Tribal, Nomad) or culture (Norse, Mongol) type allows raiding.

I could be wrong about this, but I'm pretty certain as I've raided in both vanilla and CK2+ and I've noticed no difference.

Religion:

Also no distinct changes to the things you mentioned as far as I'm aware. You can find the religion details at mod > CK2+ > common > religions.

The Religious heads title levels sometimes vary, one I can remember (and this may be from vanilla as well) is the the Fraticelli pope is ducal instead of king tier.

New creatable titles:

This one I can actually help you with! All new titles and the requirements to create them can be found at CK2+ > common > landed_titles > CK2Plus_titles.txt.

New CBS:

Another easy one. CK2+ > common > cb_types > [any of the listed].txt.

I would highly recommend downloading notepad++ here: https://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v6.8.8.html

It makes viewing the text files much easier.

Finally, I would also highly recommend reading a previous post of mine talking about the altered combat tactics of CK2+ (which are mostly the work of the "Better Armies" mod). The combat system in CK2+ is massively different to vanilla, all the while there is no apparent official information mentioning it.
