I can't seem to get it above two as a Duke. Ever. What am I missing? Or is it just supposed to be that low?

It's supposed to be that low without tech advancement or high stewardship, you can tweak it in the defines file with notepad ++ if you want to change it, I always tweak the settings of a mod to my liking somewhat so it's not that hard.
As far as I understand it you have to raise centrol/centralisation laws. In Lux Invicta tech has nothing to do with demesne size (It is relatively new)
Well now it does, at least in the Dev vresion. I recently applied changes so that the non-clanic centralization laws, which allow you to do just that, depend on the "Divine Right" technology. Clanic rulers do not depend on technology but on the ruler reaching high level of personal authority.
I'm a Solar Christian and there is literally no ways in either the Law tab or the Technology tab that increase Demense size. I have a Stewardship stat of 17 and my wife is 14. Yet, I still can't seem to get it above 2. Seems really odd to me, I must be doing SOMETHING wrong?
what is the evel of your control laws ? I have a ruler with stewardship 6 but middle control laws and a demesne of 3
So in LI:
- state stewardship increases demesne size as much as 0.1 / stewardship (vs 0.15 in Vanilla)
- as a non-clanic ruler, at milestones of Divine Right tech, you can improve your control law (aka centralization), which increases demesne size for each level (as centralization law in Vanilla)
In fact, it works more or less as in Vanilla...

I'm not playing this "SVN" version, I'm playing the version in the download link on the main page. Is this SVN version like the new beta or something? How do I download it? Sorry for bugging you.
It is accessible to every one. It is explained in our FAQ ("Clairvoyance Corner"). Beware, the current version is not playable. But depending on times, it may be very stable.
