Is there a way to make Character and Dynasty modding faster?

As the thread title says this is my question. I am wondering if there is a way or a tool to make character creation faster, i mean it takes some time to make each every character, give him another id, parents, link them etc. some times ID can be mistaken, forgotten, or simply you can't find the last ID used so you have to go back and find it, so I am wondering if it is possible to go around this.

There's an old character generator tool from many years ago, but it's substantially out-of-date. You can probably still get useable results from it, but the trait selection in particular won't reflect the latest version of the game.

There's also my GEDCOM to CK2 converter. It doesn't exactly auto-generate characters with traits, but it allows transition between the genealogy file format GEDCOM and CKII dynasty and character files.
