I was deep onto a amazing game and STEAM forces the new update on me breaking my modded game. I cant start the game without crashing to desk top.
I rolled back to 2.6 but it seems some of the mods updated to 2.7 before I did so which has resulted in a problem with me having some mods for 2.7 and some for 2.6. Also breaking me game.

Is there a way to roll back mods without having to source older versions?

I have tried to find individual mods and manual roll them back but then I end up with my next problem. STEAM being the peice of annoying crap it is is has the fodder randomly numbered so I cant even tell where each mod is!

Can someone please save me from the hell that STEAM has put me in?

No. You'd have to ask around. Sometimes mod authors keep backups.

The number is the Mod ID, which you can find in the URL of the modpage.

Mods should also have a descriptor in there, which contains the name of the mod. But that would be a last resort sort of thing.
