Bug.jpg

If you will look at my 109 conversion rate its showing -0.0. Is this a bug?

I don't run into this problem every game but for this one I did. Has any else seen or bumped into this problem before?
Thanks for any help.

And what actually happens afterwards? Do they all get converted instantly 'for free', or does it get stuck instead and no conversion is made?

I think this happens in my game when there isn't anything else to convert.

For myself I can have thousands of equipment ready to convert but the game wont do it.
Hmm in that case, it's a bug. I had conversion showing some weird numbers before, but never getting stuck at 0 like this.

I'd suggest you report it as a bug (that conversion of equipment is stuck) and include the save where it happens.

I had something like this but I finally figured out that the old plane had something different about it that could not be converted. Look at the reserve planes you are trying. The other time I was trying to convert a previous year model/era and that will not work at all. Another time I tried add two fuel tanks but it only added one to them, I think because that slot was not unlocked when they were built. Those are the things I can think of you can look at.

This was an MIO upgrade if I remember correctly, I'm usually pretty careful about streamlining these upgrades to avoid that very problem.

I've seen this as well. Generally, when I'm trying to do a "MIO" only upgrade with no equipment changes, and the MIO also has "assembly line optimizers", it looks like the conversion efficacy gets too high and something internally overflows. I've found a couple of work arounds, for things like Armor, wait until you have a "real equipment" change like an improved gun or upgraded radio, then run the upgrades (as opposed to running them for minor mio upgrades like increased reliability). This "can" work for Air, but you'd have to do something undesirable like swapping drop tanks for extra fuel talks (or vice versa). You can also change the MIO's taints and replace the assembly line optimizers for something like "reduced output costs". (Generally, by the time I run into this, the MIO is pretty advanced, and the production efficacy is high anyway...).
