Will this forum stay or will it, eventually, merge into EU II aars?

This really is a pitty, as EU II isn't available in Belgium yet, and not sure that I am going to buy it and I'd love to write an AAR, but it seems that there is no public left in this once very active area :(

see your point

im am wrighting an aar but when you don´t get any response one tendes to loos the spirit. but i acualy up dated my aar today but it sems like no one notised:(

Perhaps we should start some kind of movement to keep this active...

To make good old EU popular again...

Or you could just join Alliances, and then you can submit AAR's and other literary works of art, and be certain that they are read - we just started a literature forum.
You don't even have to be in the game...

I still read them...

I drop in here every now and then, although a lot of the ones I used to follow have euther been completed or just stopped.

btw Royalist, nice add :D ;)

i have just been reading and reading and reading, darn thats a lot of reading. LOVED ariel´s AAR and have recently begun to read Warspite´s AAR.
Even though i have played EU a lot, i never considered writing an AAR myself. When i do start one, i want to be able to finish it.
I have looked for EUII in stores overhere, but have had no luck as of yet.
So....I keep playing EU, until luck brings me EUII.

hmmmm, i might as well i suppose, just whip out me ole notepad. Now to find a nice scenario to play, i dont see myself playing the 300 year grand campaign, its sooooo long, and my girlfriend wants time and attention too. :p

the thirty years war it is then, ill prolly wont be talking about raising 30k troops and building 14 warships, its too cumbersome, ill just be telling the dutch history from the perspective of the people living there...in dutch? i should think so...:D

Not that I don't like the Dutch, I have friends (;)) who live 'over-there', but to keep me reading you might want to write it in something I can read!

Hi Royalist and Haaf, just so you know, most of the action has moved to EUII AAR forum. There are some great treasures in here and some new ones being built as we speak. Certainly the attention to this AAR forum has slowed but the legacy it left lives on each day. Enjoy!

hi all, currently writing my own double A-R. Had to rewrite the last year as i forgot to save the game, yet had written the history already. The 30 years war...right...not much war yet. Anyway just to let the EU1 players know, their game is still being played, and I just received news the EU2 wont be out overhere for some time. geesh....

very busy at incorporating fact with my fiction, not much time to write though, so progress is rather slow. I am going to write the entire story first, which allows me to construct a cohesive story... Yes i like being in control of things, why do you ask? ;)
