It seems to be down again. Paradox is mostly on holiday for 3 weeks so we might have a long wait. If anyone is able to reach Paradox staff, please tell them to reboot Valkyrie Net.

It's still down this Sunday morning, alas. The best workround is to get in touch using ICQ (I recommend Trillian or www.icq2go.com as ways of accessing ICQ) and then hook up using the Internet option rather than Valkyrie Net. The client players need to know the host's IP address but that's fairly easy to establish and pass on - the host will typically use the command ipconfig from the command line. This will indicate the IP address. He relays this to the prospective players who tell HoI to connect to that address and away you go...
