Issues with connecting to Hamachi Server.

Hi, my friend recently purchased Darkest hour, the Singleplayer works fine without issues and he's is having fun. However, when he tried to connect to my DH server through Hamachi (The Ipv4 address), he is unable to connect with no visible error messages. He has disabled his firewall just in case but is still experiencing issues.

Do any of you guys know what the issue may be?

Yes, our checksum is exactly the same. Im going to see if running as an admin and disabling UAE will also help. Thanks.

Well, we've tried playing with both of our firewall's and UAC off. And yet the issue continues to persist.

Ok, we have an error message:

Failed to find game

No game host found at IP address 5.3.204.171. Please check the address, router and firewall settings and try again.

Please check if you are using a home network or a public network under windows. Hamachi changed something in novembre with only a small hint whick could be easily clicked away. Your both networks should be a home network. in addition try a 2 before the first 5 in your ip-adress.

I had a problem with hamachi as well. Try Game Ranger it works much better and more stable i think Its free and only you have to create an account. NO spam tho.
