I recently began to play stellaris again, and decided that I wanted to play with gigastructural engineering, on top of the UI revamp to make it easier to design ships. I have uninstalled, removed all files related to mods, and have even used Ivory mod manager, but whenever I launch the game, it acts like it is vanilla. None of the special origins show up on the race edit menu, and when I lauch a new game, UI is vanilla and the UI for giga does not show up. Has anyone else had this issue, or has a way to solve this issue? I'm running the most recent version of stellaris, and have double checked the the mods work on this version, I even went to 3.1.1 to make sure, but the same problem persisted.

A sanity check: you have verified the mods are enabled in the launcher for your current playlist before game start, right?

Normally the UI mods are always last on the list. Try moving the gigastructural engineering mod above. If that does not work then maybe the two mods are not compatible????

i based this setup off of lathrixs' new video, the one where he built the quasi-stellar obliterator, people in his comments were recommending the UI mod. I have also ran giga on its own just to further test the problem, same outcome, game launches like its vanilla/un-modded

Yes the UI mod is good but normally it is last on the list per its own instructions. If you tried on its own then it sounds like a problem with this giga mod. Ask the author for help on steam workshop.

solved the issue, friend told me that when you try to uninstall on steam, that steam does not remove the game files, rather just "removes" it on your library, so after I removed everything including the full game file in common, and reinstalled, it was gtg
