i played 3 years as italy, and all was well. then i attacked yugoslavia and things got...wierd. i lost battles that i couldn't even see(there were no active combats), the map mode locked up-on what modei don't know, and the game got very clunky.

i meet all the recommended requirements with one huge exception-i only have 128MB of RAM. is this the problem? if i invest in more RAM do you think this will alleviate the problem?

thanks for any advice
 
More ram is always a good investment up to about a gig right now.
If you were running XP then 128 is not good enough even to run the basic operating system let alone a game. XP needs 512, ME/Win98 needs 256 as minimums.

When you loaded in the save did the same thing happen?
