One of the changes in 4.0 is reverting back to the old name style for leader traits in English. The original change was intended to make life easier for localization, but didn't work out well.
Good to hear, glad you saw my post.

My thing is that the #1 goal of any and every single aspect of UX should be to quickly and clearly convey information to the player. I just find too many traits require me to read tooltips to remember what they are and do. It might be more sterile to do so but with like 200 leader traits it can get annoying.

At the very least, "governor" traits deserve the same sort of discriminating icon that council traits have.

What??
I always thought the Skirmisher trait was a small dinosaur! Or some kind of frog or amphibian. I always wondered what a dinosaur had to do with fleet speed.

(I could guess it is supposed to be a map maybe, for planning fancy skirmishing maneuvers?)

This is literally my favourite change for 4.0 despite going unannounced.

Those awkward trait names like "carefulness" and "inquisitor" (which used to be "inquisitive"... a very different thing) have bothered me since they were introduced.

Quality of writing makes a big difference in a game like this which is all about scientific technobabble and flowery prose. A few cases of poor English writing or simplistic terminology can just suck out all the gravitas from the experience for me.

Hopefully you will finally change the names of those tradition trees whose titles are adjectives and not nouns as well - the inverse problem. Those being "Mercantile" and "Unyielding" last I checked. "Mercantile" should be something like Finance or just Economy, for example.

There's a mod called "New Tradition Grammar Fix" that makes them into Commerce and Perseverance I think. A really nice change, though it doesn't actually change the alphabetical position of the traditions.
