Now that is quite a victory. Now Khazaria will be know and feared by the West which good be a good thing and perhaps a really bad thing.

Absolutely. Khazaria is suddenly very present on the map of the European powers and everyone's scared right now - we will see what's made of it.

How the great city has fallen. Will it flourish under Tarkhan? Will the Ashina turn into the western Yuan? So so many possibilities

In the short term, there is little to stop them - apart from the massive defensive pact that is inevitably going to form. Yet the larger the empire gets, the more risky successions become, and Tarkhan is already over 50 now...

Good job. Please don't destroy the city though.

I can assure you that the city will be left as it is. The Khazars may be a rough bunch, but a hardly penetrable fortress is too sweet a prize. :)

I'm hoping that Egill will actually be rewarded and it's not an elaborate plot by someone, he deserves it after all his service.
That is certainly an impressive achievement! I wonder what shall be the fate of Constantinople, Tarkhan sounds like the type who would rename it after himself. I wonder if some future Khagan might choose to settle in the Great City?

I actually haven't thought about renaming the city, but the idea is intriguing for sure. :) Depending on what the next Khagans will be like, moving the headquarters there is a very real possibility. It would take care of the one large disadvantage of Nomads - their inability to research in any efficient way. It remains to be seen though if someone gets to the throne who recognizes and appreciates it properly.
Egill will get what he is promised, that much I'll disclose. Tarkhan is a man that keeps his words, especially if he trusts someone - and his relation to Egill is genuine.
