Joining a game trought IP problem.

I have this problem that if I enter the right ip and click join it says that no such game is found. I have tryed entering the ip again and checked if its the right ip, still the same problem, host is hosting aswell. Could anyone knows how to deal with such a problem?

you need to press delete before you enter the ip adress so the join button becomes gray and then enter the ip adress then it schould work

If i just press delete if i go to the "internet" then it wont go grey, if i backspace the previous ip, then it will beckme gray.

Where the space for the IP address is, you must press delete several times before typing in the address, then type in the address and click join.

Nope, i clicked delete like hell, and i cleared the ip entrering box, still same problem, but if i enter the right ip, it takes much more time until it pops the error message, than if i enter a wrong ip. Really weird :/.

Try to reinstall? If you have cleared the box, so the join button is grey, then it should work. Maybe sometime became fouled up during the install?

Or perhaps disable your firewall (or open the needed ports) AND forward certain ports via your router. Check the sticky threads for more info.

Nope, dont have router, cable modem. Thx for your help. Ill try to reinstall and see what happens .

Even if i try to join a game at V-net it says host not found :/ It searches about 5 seconds. I have 250/75 Internet. I reinstalled the game.

Windows firewall disabled? Or perhaps your ISP uses some kind of router/proxy on their end, which could mess you up. Not sure what to do about that though...

Hmm, maybe you could make a copy of ur proxy/router settings and ill check if they are same. I disabled the filewall, still same, or i must restart after that?

Or maybe i have something blocking to join me ex firewall. I have played with my estonian friend (i live in estonia aswell) and we had the same problem sometimes, mostly we could play.

If you don't have a router this is kind of pointless

Anyway, I'm at a loss. Perhaps someone with more experience on these matters can help you better.
