You could try it out for one test. If it works, you at least know that there is an issue with port forwarding. If it doesn't work, there's something else that's the problem :)

Hm, true enough. How would I be able to activate this, then?
My router model's NetGear RP614v2 if it helps.
eDIT: Not to mention I doubt it's ports, since I can't even -host-, really..

I had this problem, and it was because I didn't have any client in my network connection setup. Do you have 'Client for Microsoft Networks' there?
