Try putting yourself in the DMZ in your router. That was the only way I could play on some routers...

a lot of routers have a demilitarized zone (DMZ) that you can put one ip address in.

It means you allow all traffic to one IP adress in your network. It basically sets your PC wide open for internet.
Ah.. well, I can't do that, as other people use the internet while I do, hence why I use the router.. Anything else I might be able to do?

You could try it out for one test. If it works, you at least know that there is an issue with port forwarding. If it doesn't work, there's something else that's the problem

Hm, true enough. How would I be able to activate this, then?
My router model's NetGear RP614v2 if it helps.
eDIT: Not to mention I doubt it's ports, since I can't even -host-, really..
