I apologize if I'm mentioning something that's already noted, but I did a quick search and didn't see anything that looked like it. I've had events fire for dead bastards several times. At first, when I got the "court impressed by how you treat your bastard son" event I couldn't figure it out--then I realized I'd had a bastard that died as an infant many years earlier. Just recently, I had a bastard son who had been dead for twenty-five years claim to be my legitimate heir!
