Hi guys. I guess it took a learning curve to understand the game but some things I really dont understand how they exatctly work so I am wondering if someone can answer these small questions to me maybe:

1. In the economy there are always random number like 18,039 of Coal or Fresh Water or what. Does anyone know how thoose units are to be interpreted. How much is this unit since there is no way to know that. The same says about energy, that a powerplant can produce up to 2,5 Megawatt. But the numbers in the "electricity sector" seem random? Its realy hard to calculate how many powerplants you will need to build for example because you simply dont know how much energy they can produce or?

2. The United Nations seems not to intervene in any conflicts at all? I am not even sure whether I am a member in the UN because I have never received any kind of voting regarding issues in the world. There was not even a vote about an intervention against North Korea when it invadet the south? What the hell? I think I am not in the UN.. anyone if a country is a member or not?

3. I realize that this game is aimed for the public that like fighting but just a quick question.. is there a game with a more realistic flair to the post of a president with a little more proporational "levers"?

4. Again these problems that a persident usually does no adress.. but do I as a president of a country have to keep an eye on how much fuel a specific ship consumes? Because as of now my ship was sent to pick up units from another continent and is stuck in the middle of the ocean.. any hints? I mean rediculous.. is this what a president does.. monitor the fuel levels of ships?

Hopefully no one takes the following comment as an insult as its not intended as such. But in regards to another game. I own every version of SRGC as well as SRCW. But I've always harbored this wish that some aspects of Supreme Ruler were more like another Paradox game and that game is Hearts of Iron. Now, apparently, they are going to do a Hearts of Iron IV that, like SRGC, also deals with the Cold War. I'm kinda dying to see it b/c IMHO, I think its a better platform for this type of game. The researching of new technologies does a very good job at prohibiting a nation from developing them too early. For example, its almost 1955 in my current game and already I can build & deploy F-4's, F-5's, F-111's, B-52D, G and H models, SR-71's, C-5's and many other aircraft. That doesn't happen anywhere near as often and with the same magnitude as in this. Plus it doesn't have the performance issues either like SRCW does. That frustrates me the most I think. That and the fact that Canada has more of its military on my soil than in their own land. LoL

EDIT- East Vs. West (Hearts of Iron IV) http://www.paradoxplaza.com/games/east-vs-west-a-hearts-of-iron-game

The measurement in money, is easy to fathom. There is a button, which makes an annual forecast of income and expenses, and the same button toggles, for the day before's actual income and expense statement. I think the graphic indicators will remain the same, for other resources, like water, and oil, and food, metal, etc. Because, when the button is toggled, the forecast for the year, will exactly coincide with yesterdays consumption, but the number of barrels of oil consumed yesterday, will be the same. The indicators for resources are yellow and green, green is the resource produced domestically, yellow is domestic consumption.
