Using the latest version of the mod, and I've run into some sort of random bug. I wanted to play a Persia game, so consoled myself (Samanid start at 867) Zoroastrian, and some money, ect. Made the e_persia title eventually.

Then just recently something weird happened. All of a sudden most landed male characters have -978% or so fertility. Me included (luckily I had a daughter before this happened.)

Now you can probably tell that this is pretty game breaking, and annoying, as I am stuck with only one child (extremely risky) and none of my enemies can really grow their dynasties or reproduce or anything like that.

Some of my vassals are like this as well. The odd thing is that this hasn't happened to any of my female vassals, or their unlanded spouses. Also, some of my landed male vassals are perfectly ok, and have a normal fertility %.

Any idea what the problem is? The only thing I've modded is the ruled_years=5 part of the CK2+ Titles and Landed Titles part in the mod itself.

No clue whether this will just fix itself on it's own, or if I'm going to be plagued by this until the end of the game.

I've had random drops in fertility as well. I also have a game where the fertility claims to be normal, but no children are ever born to my characters. This is with over 8 couples over nearly 80 years.

I had a similar problem before. Have you started a custoum game, starting at some point and then moving backwards in time? Because that most likely caused the bug for me. I would be interested if that was the case for you, too, cause then the issue would be nailed down.

On the other thing: I have seen some characters with -950% or so fertility in my latest game as well - but I believe there now is a chance for characters to become barren. The devs would have to clear up if this is working as intended. And it shouldn't affect all characters, else something would be wrong.

I haven't moved back in time, but I loaded up an old save (my save modified Sassanid save) and everything went back to normal.

I might have borked the save somehow, but it hasn't happened yet in that game, nor has it happened in my current Celtic game either.

I was going to make a new thread, but I figure while this one is up, I'll just ask this here.

Is there any benefit of granting independence to the Arch Druid? Currently, I own the Kingdom of Scotland and my AI friend owns the Kingdom of Ireland (I'm Feudal, he's working on it pretty quickly). Is the druid being my vassal restricting Irelands access to the features or something? Would it make every Celtic Pagan stronger if I granted independence?
