Kaiserreich Not Running Properly

Im new to Hoi 2, and I got a mod that I heared was good, Kaiserreich, and it wont work. I installed it the way they told me to do it, I start it, and it says I aperently have a critical error in the database. When I click ignore, I can go into the game, and it has the new menue and music. When I selected the Kaiserreich scenario and I start the game with anny country, I get another message

critical error: (Unrecognisable which or value) 'which=U21' line=1318 =db/events/KAISERREICH/partitions.txt do you want to continue?

Im no programer, but it sounds like there may be some kind of compatability issue with my hardware or software, an educated guess. Oh, speaking of softwar, im using Domesday version 1.3, no Armagedon because I heared it sucked. I would apreciate it of someone helped me. Keep in mind, im not a programer, but if you need me to edit a text file or something then I can do it as long as I can coppy/past. (BTW, I checked if the file was missing already).

Oh, I jumped the gun and did not read the rules. So, here is my specs.

Windows XP Media Center Edition SP2.

AMD Athlon 64 Processor

3GB PC3200 DDR Memory

ATI Radeon HD 3650 video card.

It is an HP Pavilion A1130N with an upgraded video card, see above, and 3GB of RAM rather than 1GB if that helps. I apreciate any assistance.

BTW, I would like to complement the Paradox staff for making an excelent game!

It's a known issue with Doomsday and Kaiserreich.

You can either try to edit the file yourself - read posts 6491 through to 6496 in this thread :

or ask in the Kaiserreich forum to see if someone can post a copy of the amended file.

Huh? Who said something like that? Nobody on this forum, I guess! Arma is vastly superior to DD, especially since the Arma 1.3b2 patch. And Arma being only $4.99 makes it a no-brainer to buy!

They may have been referring to HoI3. Quite a few people have been dissatisfied with it.

Hello all,
first of all, the mod is excellent . I want to thank to all of those who created it. However, at some points, I came across bugs and direct crashes to the desktop. For instance, while playing with Ukraine, I had this error occur randomly at times. Can you please help???

"Windows has encountered a problem and needs to close"

P.S: I haven't edited anything regarding the original game itself or the mod. Also, this error doesn't happen after a particular event, it's completely random. Also, I'm using Vista and have patched Armageddon until the 1.2 patch if that's of any use. Can you please help??
