I was playing escape mode in the green beach prison, and got caught and left to be punished. After a while Karl came to bring me to where I needed to go, but he took a break and gave me a long tour of the staff room, and it took me 10 minutes real time at normal speed for him to drop me off. Also the room was staff only, if it helps, plus the distance he had to travel was not much, so I don’t know why he got tired.
