We'll get our keys (I imagine via BackerKit) close to the game's release. No real need to distribute them now since the game is currently inaccessible anyway.

Question: How are you you people using BattleTech Avatars and none are in the options for me to select? I'm a Beta Backer (missed the kickstarter itself but backed the game to the tune of 100 USD back around Christmas time 2016? Definitely by March 2017 (that's the first email i can find in my emails at least) so I don't know if I'm missing something or what.
No offense to the other Avatars i'm currently able to select, they just aren't appealing to me at all (even to use on a temporary basis).
So I'm confused, how do some people have the option to use a BattleTech avatar and others not?

Check your BackerKit and there should be a code for the Paradox forums. You can input that in the Register A Game page (link in the top bar) to gain access to the BT avatars.
Ahh.. finally found the line item for it, but it says 'coming soon' lol
Just funny that i get my discount code right away, but forum code is still in the works. I know they mentioned it could take a while to populate for everyone so I'm just going to wait till tomorrow and see if anything shows up. Thanks for the reply Packrat & Army Vet!

I'd love to see some of the odd ones in there too... Killer Bees, Snord's Irregulars, Lindon's Company... So many to choose from Even the evil Waco Rangers!

Also have the problem that i did two pre-order and therefore my backer kit account counts them as two "surveys"…
The Shadow Hawk skin is a new bonus that HBS and Paradox decided to surprise us with, and is in addition to the backer Atlas skin, so anyone who backed high enough for the Atlas should get both. I don't recall hearing about anything else on that list over on the HBS forums though, so all those backer goodies should still be in the game. Most of the things I remember being delayed were goals like Linux support, cameo characters, and encounters with famous units, which should all be included soon. The tournament features for multiplayer sadly just weren't working out the way HBS hoped, and had to get cut for the time being.
The Shadow Hawk is a pre-order bonus, so you should get it no matter which edition you bought.
I'm not speaking from 100% certainty though, so if anybody can correct me on either of these points, please do.

Be proud as you were a part of something much grander than what the original self funded game scope would have been and helped make what we hope is an epic release. Plus 3 years of Kickstarter Backer updates and community engagement and near constant speculation with a sprinkling of truths.That's entertainment! How much was that Worth? It was money well spent.

I really only came in to read up about it in the last 1 year. I don't care much for all that jazz. I went to steam store and finally actually looked at the screenshots in detail for example. Video Q&As and sporadic updates isnt my thing. I generally just read all my KS updates once every 4+ months. But I get the gist of your first line and I'm currently able to support devs that I like (! wasnt during the shadowrun time).
April is a bit sooner than I expected tbh. Now get the unseen back in and I am good to go

When it's released, you'll get a key that you enter into the distribution system of your choice, which will grant you access to the game.
