Kid had an involuntairy namechange

I was playing my current game (newest patch 1.02b) as the King of Denmark.
For fun, I decided to name my first son after me, Mads. Now that was fine and dandy till he reached age 10 or 11. At least that is when I noticed, he was now called Mathias.
I wonder if this has anything to do with regal numbers, as Mads is a variation of Mads/Mathias/Mattias/Mats etc..

Sometimes they change names because you had a tutor of a different culture. (They convert to that culture). Might not be a bug?

Ah, I did not know that was a thing. His culture has indeed changed to German. Little traitor.
