King Arthur Collection sees players guide the legendary King Arthur in his effort to conquer the warring provinces of Britannia, unite the kingdom and bring lasting peace. Recruit the fabled Knights of the Round Table, dispatching them to all corners of the realm on a variety of missions, improving them to become the most powerful of heroes. Build the majestic and awe inspiring Camelot, govern a growing kingdom, and oversee spectacular battles where thousands of skilled warriors, powerful magicians and fearsome creatures clash in bloody fights to the death.

Every decision the player makes will determine Arthur’s morality as a King creating their own legend; will he be a kind and benevolent ruler or a ruthless monarch? A Christian king or a Pagan leader? Destiny shall decide…

Features:
- Real-Time fantasy battles - Engage in spectacular fights featuring thousands of soldiers and renowned heroes, such as Sir Lancelot and Merlin
- Turn-Based campaign map - Britannia is represented as a three-dimensional topographic map
- Create your own Legend - The saga of King Arthur, an epic tale about the conquest of Britannia, is told through a story-based campaign
- Morality Chart - Every decision you make in the game will influence King Arthur’s position on the Morality Chart. These choices unlock special content, allies, heroes, units and developments
- RPG elements - Heroes learn skills, spells and abilities. They can also use magic items or become liege lords, entrusted with the leadership of a province

To anyone who bought King Arthur on GamersGate: Did you receive a free copy of the Collection?

I checked the My Games page on GG to see if they'd released the 1.06 patch without telling anyone, and I discovered I'd somehow acquired the Collection.

Well, it may not be free, however current owners of the previous versions (at Gamersgate) can pick up the full deal for 75% off.

I accidentally found that out when I searched for the 'Collection' while logged in.

So if this is Neocore's (or Paradox') way of making up, then they've won me back.

Interesting. I bought KA + both expansions through GG, maybe only people who did that were given the Collection for free?

I don't recall the second expansion, The Druids, ever being on sale at Gamersgate. It was never listed that I saw, and I've noticed others mentioned the same. Are you sure you got the 2nd xpac from GG or was it from a different retailer?

Of course, getting the collection for peanuts kinda solves all those past problems at the moment.

Druids was only available for a very short time on GG.

Nobody ever said a word to me; I bought the whole thing, minus "The Druids" because it was never offered, on Impulse.

I am absolutely not won back, especially since I've been requesting/asking/complaining/begging about this stuff for about 1 1/2 years.

I ended up having to pay for the whole thing over again from D2D (Direct-to-Drive), and I am frustrated by the whole thing. Impulse probably lost a customer permanently, as the only thing they would ever say about "The Druids" is that it would be released, but no date was set, and no one will comment further (someone told me he would say nothing, another one, I think accidently, told me it would be released but there are problems).

Then I see a promotion giving away free copies, and even though I begged and pleaded with Neocore and Paradox for an extended time (I think well over a year is pretty long), I still get to pay all over again for a product I originally bought and have spent a total of over $100 on now.

I go out of my way to support those things I like, that way I will get more, but I am excessively disappointed in Impulse, Paradox and Neocore for all of this and their lack of "seeming" to really care about it.

Very disappointed.

Oh, I can definitely understand.

I'd still be wary of future dealings, and more hesitant to open the wallet, but I've not totally ruled it out as I had planned before. A wait and see stance is more my tack now, I think, because I do want to know if playing favorites is still a bad habit with their next release.

Hi, the game isnt avaiable in Germany as a boxed version. I found some vendors where i'm able to buy an import of the game (probably from the UK).
Before i'm going to buy that english version .... do you have any plans to make (a german version of) the game (boxed) avaiable in germany?

Hello i am interested in buying the King Arthur collection pack, but on the DVD case it says it includes only the initial game + saxon + druid expansion. What about the knights and vassals + legendary artifacts DLCs? Are they really included and they forgot to mention it on the DVD case or what?

As you can see there is no mention of the DLCs on the DVD case. Sorry if the question is a bit stupid, but i wanted clarification before buying this (and i REALLY want the DLCs...).

The DVD version also requires Steam activation - it will appear in your Steam game library so you will get all Steam patches. It’s likely that the Collection DVD includes the 1.06 version but you can get the last patch (v.1.07.) through Steam. Just make sure that your game is always up to date. Go to your Steam game library, right click on King Arthur: Collection, then go to Properties and go to Updates and choose “Always keep this game up to date”.
