King Arthur: Fallen Champions CTD

Hi All,
I bought the game from steam yesterday and started a new campaign after going through answers-questions and about to start the campaign the game crashed to desktop.

I have:
P5Q Deluxe - P45
E8400 3ghz
4GB DDR2
GTX 560 ti DS
Windows 7 64

Anyone else having this issue?
The tutorial worked to the end just fine with no crashes.

We will also need a DxDiag report of your system, please attach it to your email and tell whether you're using a laptop or a desktop computer.

In the meantime you can try a couple of things:
1. Lower the graphical detail in the game menu and see if that helps (you can save the game right before the battle at the mission briefing - so you don't have to do the text adventure over and over again).
2. Lower your desktop resolution before launching the game. Try it again
3. Run Steam in administrator mode: Exit Steam entirely. Right-click on the Steam shortcut or the Steam launcher file and choose "Run as administrator" (Even if you already have admin rights on your computer!)
Then start the game again and see if that helps.

I would first upgrade your BIOS, Audio, and Graphics drivers...Then follow Neocore_Kate's advice, if the problem persists.
