I have created the kingdom of Andalos, and I simply wonder if it is possible to create a kingsguard? If not, is there any submods in which add this feature?
I know about the bodyguard feature, but imho its not really the same.

There has been a lot of talk on this on the mod's forum. But just to avoid mass amounts of coding and all sorts of lore stuff they just added in the body guards feature.

I kinda like the new bodyguard feature, it's a good alternative to a kingsguard (though you can only have 3 of them)

o_0 I can have 5, 6.2. I wish that it fired automatically for Emperors, so I didn't have to replace them everytime I/they die.
Yeah, it would be great to have for example a decision that triggered a similar mechanic to the Kingsguard where you automatically get a few good options (with high marital/fighting skill) to replace the bodyguard that recently died.

Yes! This is what I want, sadly I have no knowledge whatsoever when it comes to modding -_-

I would've attempted to make such a submod myself, but unfortunately with my finals coming up soon I just can't spare the time. :(

I imagine that if I would try to make it later on it would be something like this specifically:
An automatic event/decision to assign the bodyguard honorary titles to someone in the realm with options similar like the Kingsguard. The guy you choose will then if he accepts be moved to your court and be granted the bodyguard title automatically.

Though, it would we be even nicer with an optional generic Kingsguard for a player-controlled kingdom, but that might just not be feasible as Tabellarius suggested. At least it would be quite a lot work to make it fit in properly lorewise with all the different cultures/traditions/etc.
