It's nice to see the survival of the line and of Bavaria, though the old homelands are lost. Did you choose to end because of the technical problems or was it for story reasons?

The technical problems made me realize things we becoming neatly wrapped up because Guzman had restored the glory that Wilhelm had lost. The game save is irreperable even though I was able to extract all the Nordheims from it.

In the future I will be using the betas for any new AAR. Without the technical problems I would have continued to at least 1450s.

This way I don't have to experience the atrocious leadership of Vasco, his scores are horrible in every aspect (something like 2/4/2/2). Plus I get to describe the Mongols as scary. They didn't show up even by 1232 in game.

In game the Mongols never showed, I just added that because I wanted to use them at least once in this AAR.

In another month or two I will be starting a CK Denmark AAR. My last name is danish, although it was modified when my ancestors immigrated to america. So I decided to play them since my other roots (Netherlands) don't exist in the CK period.

I'm going to keep track of families and courtiers a lot more there. At least I think so. I slipped away from the personal level of storytelling as Bavaria got huge. I'm going to try to focus it on the court and its intrigues the whole time if I do Denmark.

My other option is an HOI aar. But I need to start playing now to get my skill up, cause I'm horrible at HOI.
