Just like the other guy, i got laggy single player.
It worked perfectly for two months, then it started getting laggy occasionally now its all the time. HOI2 still works fine.

I read the other guys thread and looked at the link. It talked mostly about lack of memory or system problems. I am able to play Q4 Bf2 and CSS at full resolutions and detail levels at a solid 60 or so fps. I have 2GB ram.

I tried reinstalling and like the other guy it worked fine the first time but since it has fallen back to its old state.

When i load the main menu it runs fine, when i click on single player i notice the fps of the mouse movement is slightly reduced, and when i actually load a game it runs at 3 or 4 fps. Yet it runs perfectly on both of my brothers' computers. I dont think this can be summed up as a simple problem, i think it is something darker and more sinister because its not just me.

Yes a few people have experianced this.
Still unable to pin it down to which part/Driver is the culprit.

Ive found a solution to the problem. For me at least, and this may sound a bit wierd, but the problem was solved when i shut down X-Fire. Apparently X-fire changes the way the game operates to allow me to recieve messages in game but this feature is broken in Doomsday.

It is suggested that all backgrounfd programs are shutdown.
