I have been trying to get a LAN game going with my brother, but it works only once.

We both have the same computers and identical installs, and the network is working properly. After we installed the game we were able to play for a while but when we quit for diner and tried again the next day the game name stays grey in the selection screen and my brother can't connect we have also tried using my brother's pc as host but it stays grey.

Please help

As a start you need to both be on 1.04, and start the game under that version.

As in grey, do you mean that the host's game is shown in the join game menu but it wont allow you to join? Also I have noticed that sometimes the way to connect is to host the game through Local area and have the others join through the internet IP connection. It worked on mine.

I had the same problem with EU1. We connected ok using the internet settings instead. We don't seem to be having the same problem in EU2, though.

Neither am I, my LAN games work fine through local area. But I thought that it may help on his, but who knows I am no expert when it comes to these things.
