language confusion and other problems

i just started my first HSR game, and first i wanted to thank you for the great work, but i have some questions.

1. why are some pop ups in italian and some in english... as my italian is improvable, i wandted to ask you if this is changeable.

2. when e.g. units are updated or build i only get a message with the name of the unit but not if it is either updated or created

3. why did you change the skills for a general so he can only command 6 units but a fieldmashal still 12 ? what has been wrong with the old regulation?

1. only explanation i can thin of.. you got an italian version of HOI2..
or you changed the language settings..
HSR is all english (except f.ex. some german event names)

open "hoi2\settings.cfg" with notepad/editor and set language to 0 to change back to english..

2. i never heared of this.. maybe your installation is messed up.. (could be an alternative answer for 1. too)
or maybe you somehow changed a setting.. (right click messagebox)

3. is a gameplay issue and best discussed at stonyroad

Can you get the HSR without their graphics? It's very confusing with air force and navy to see who is what...

Dont think so, but you can overwrite them with others.
