Language does not change in Cities Skylines

Hello, I downloaded the game from EGS, installed Paradox Launcher in Russian, and when I go into the game, the language is Deutsch and does not change to any other language.

The system is in Russian, EGS is also in Russian.

Maybe somewhere in the game files/configs I can change something.

What happens when you change the language? Can you even find where to change the language?

From the game's main menu, go to Gameplay, then language option is at the top. Just click it and it should have a drop down list of languages.

The Russian option is second from bottom on my list.

Yes, in the video I do exactly that, but nothing changes

Maybe try to verify game files first.

If that fails, try copying and backup the userGameState.cgs file to your document folder, or a safe folder that you use outside of the game.

Then delete the userGameState file then launch cities: skylines and it should make a new userGameState file and see if it resets it again.

Doing this may reset the game unlocks and other things. so keep that backup file safe!
