So much Dev Interaction...

So much community interaction...

All that BATTLETECH will ever be, had it’s genesis here on the HBS Forums.

I think I will miss having access to the “Ask the Devs” section most of all. :bow:

Such a great run Team HBS, with so much more yet to come! : )
 
Agreed. I never posted over there much but I read there almost daily for the last two years. There was so much information and so much interaction with the game developers. This forum is silent in comparison. That saddens me.
 
That was the best forum community I have ever had the privilege of experiencing. I miss it. This place isn't bad, but it's not the same.

I will probably never go and look at them again, but it was fun to see people posting pictures of their steins. Worth saving? I don't know.

Now that the game is out, I have little or no inclination to haunt this forum. I guess anticipating the game (and updates about progress) for over a year was what made going to that forum so great.

Goodbye old forum. Thanks to everyone who spent so much time on it.

I'm glad to see that the main protagonists of the old forum are equally active here. Good on ya'!
 
I was never a member of those forums, but after just looking now...any way you guys could offer something for the users there to come here?
I only looked briefly and it seamed to have as high quality discussions as here.

Many (most?) of the users there are already here; those who aren't probably won't come for a number of diverse reasons. Either way, that site haven't had any users or new posts since we picked up and moved here.

Sadly, that's not possible. Paradox wants a unified look and feel to their forums, whichever game it might be about.
 
I too wasn't much for posting on the old forum and simply spent a lot of time lurking and reading.
But I shall miss it, and I'm probably going to nab my last proper post on there for posterity.
 
Shame there's no way to archive it all...
 
So long old BattleTech forum. There was a lot of good memories there. <o

Oh and the Stellaris keys can be given to friends/giveaways etc. when you have copy already? ;)
