Latest Milestone ??

Just reinstalled Armageddon (through Gamersgate), put 1.2 into it as well. Every time i go to enter the game i get a message appear saying "Please install the latest Milestone" ?? Can anyone explain why this appears and how to resolve it plz. Thank you.

Are you sure you didn't put a Doomsday patch on Arma? I did that once with similar results.

Sometimes the 1.2 patch installer creates another Armageddon subdirectory, copying the patch files into this subdirectory instead of the directory you told him to move the files.
Make sure the patch installer chose the correct path to your Armageddon installation and did not create another Armageddon subdirectory.

Well i tried to uninstal then re-install without any patches and still get the same message " Please install the latest milestone" ?? Very frustrating, thanks for your tips so far anyway

Thanks for that Mr Yuck. I`ve just realised something though. I havn`t installed DD, do i need to do this before i install Arm ??

I just looked at my install. It looks like that is what I did. It's been years though- I could be wrong.

Yes. Armageddon is an expansion for Doomsday, not a stand-alone game, so you have to install DD (AFAIK there is no need to patch it), then Armageddon on top of it and then install the latest Armageddon patch (the official 1.2 or the non-official 1.3 beta 2)
