Hello, im writing this in search of help to get my launcher running again. I was tired of the game crashing about 20-30 min into a save. Searched on internet about how to fix the situation and deleted the sharedcache folder thinking it may work. now the launcher won't run the game saying: "An error ocurred. the game appears to have crashed or terminated unexpectedly (exit code null). The issue may be solved by verifying the integrity of your game files and deactivating any mods (already done, none in current use). If you are using Windows, install Visuall C++ and (dot)Net Framework (both updated). I already tried uninstaling both the game and the launcher without any results. curiously tho, the game when launched via it's aplication, i.e without using the launcher it works, thus makes me believe it's some kind of problem with the launcher in question.

Deleting the shadercache folder of this game has no effect on the launcher - it has been unloaded by the time that folder is used. I imagine it has been recreated when you ran Victoria3.exe ?

So the launcher is not working at all, or what is happening with it? Because the Exit Null error you mention generally only occurs when the launcher is running fine as such, but can't start the game.

Both work on their own, the launcher works, stores mods and can access configurations, but when I try to launch the game (btw it only happens with Vic 3) pops the Exit Null message and can't play. Meanwhile when I launch the game via the game instalation folder in Steam (D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Victoria 3\binaries) it runs fine, albeit without any mods.

That can be an antivirus app getting in the way. What antivirus app do you use? You need to make sure all these apps are in its exceptions lists:

Victoria3.exe (in the Steam Vic3-binaries folder)
dowser.exe (in the Steam Vic3-launcher folder)
C:/users/{userName}/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2.2023.10/paradox launcher.exe
C:/users/{userName}/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/bootstrapper-v2.exe

IF that doesn't help, also set each of those .exe files (EXCEPT Victoria3.exe !) to run as the Windows Admin user.

Then the game should run from Steam/our launcher, and enable all the DLCs.

Done all you suggested and it works now, altho when I start the launcher from Steam it pop up a warning about a Runtime Communication Error. I clicked ignore and the game launched and runs OK so far, had me worried tho. Any way to fix that aswell? PS: Thank you for your help, it is much appreciated!

Is that the "can't communicate with Steam" error? If so I've seen that a few times but honestly not sure what causes it. You could try removing the "run as Admin" setting for each of those launcher components separately, one at a time; hopefully you'll find a combination which fixes the original issue and avoids this new one.
