Launcher Issues through Steam

I've uninstalled the launcher and removed the orphaned directories:

- C:/users/{userName}/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/
- C:/users/{userName}/AppData/Local/Paradox Interactive/
- C:/users/{userName}/AppData/Roaming/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2/

On reload and pressing play I'm informed that a version has already been found, but it isn't working

Hitting yes scrolls a brief install before returning this error. Hitting no actually returns the same error:

I'm not able to see anything jumping out at me with the log. Hoping someone more experienced might be able to point me in the right direction.

Pretty fed up with the launching being what breaks my game.

If i change the ' dowser.exe ' to run as administrator the launcher will actually open though it immediately returns:

I've de-linked and re-linked the accounts for good measure and it does seem to see that I have an active subscription, though all paid DLC are stuck in 'validation...' loops and no workshop DLC appear at all.

Remove Run as Admin from dowser.exe

Then Please try this:

- uninstall Paradox Launcher v2 from the Windows "Apps and features" utility, if still present.

Delete the following folders if still present:

- C:/users/{userName}/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/
- C:/users/{userName}/AppData/Local/Paradox Interactive/
- C:/users/{userName}/AppData/Roaming/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2/
To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer.

- exit the Steam app entirely
- run steam.exe as the Windows Admin user
- run the game from the PLAY button in Steam


IF that doesn't help, in this folder are some .log files:
C:/users/{userName}/AppData/Local/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2/
Please attach them here.
To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer.

If that DOES help, you can then remove Run as Admin from Steam too. Good luck!

After an update of the launcher this appears to have fixed my issue. DLC are showing up, as are workshop items.
