Launcher refuses to upoad a mod

As the title says, the launcher makes problems when I try to upload a mod.
I have already asked for help in the steam forums but no one could give me an answer.
I attach the discussion here, because I have added images to it which discribe the problem better.

It may be important to add, that the ui of the launcher is buged too:
the dropdown list, which is suposed to help sorting the mods in categorys is broken(empty tiles go all over the window)

I am using the german version of the game.

Does nobody have a solution for this? I already asked the support, but they said I should ask here...

Check if it says something in the Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\logs\error.log file.

No, the file is empty. Does the launcher maybe need a special port or is there a way to upload it directly to the workshop?

Maybe your files are too big, maybe the 2 *.mod files are formatted wrong (should be utf-8 without bom), restart steam again. That's all I got.

What is the maximum size for a mod? If I try to upload steam allways creates a completely empty mod...

Just for completation: The issue is probably router based, but I wasnt able to fix it. The router probably blocks the upload

Try uploading your screenshots somewhere that isn't being blocked as a malware site, mate.
