Launching error

Hello

I have trouble starting CK2. I always get a crash at "Generating Coats of Arms".
I got the game for steam when it was free. At that time it runned fine, now not anymore.

I have already deleted all the files of CK2 (includings those in my documents) and reinstalled it.
Afterwards i have done a verify in steam.
After that still the same problem

I use an MSI GE626QD laptop with an nvidia gtx 960M graphics card and an intel i7-6700 HQ CPU @2.6 GHz and 16GB of RAM

The operating system is the latest update of windows 10 and i use Bitdefender as my AV

if you need extra info, just ask and i will provide
hopefully you guys know how to fix it

Sounds similar.
Basically , disable activity of your antivir and try to run the game.
Sure it's differently named in Bitdefender, but disabling it, should be the same, i suppose.
Share your experience with tech support.

It seems to work.
It took a couple of attemps (each time I came a bit furter in the loading proces) but now it seems to work perfectly.

I putted my AV in game mode and put CK2 in the gamelist for that profile
