I was wondering how is CK going to handle leaders of armies. Will they just be a prince or another royal? Maybe a Duke or Count? Or will they just be randomly generated leaders? And if they are randomly generated will they have randomly generated stats or will all leaders be created equal? I looked in the "Read This Thread Before Posting" and all I got was a bad link and I did a quick search of the FAQ and didn't see anything so I thought I would ask.

Each Duke and Count will lead their contingents of the army the way I understand it. So however Dukes and Counts are entered into the game (by being randomly generated or being born into a dynasty) that is how leaders will come about. :)

I assume you can hire mercenary divisions. If you hire mercenaries will a Count or Duke still be the leader?

What about divisions raised directly from royal lands. Can you make a Prince the leader and will their be anyway to increase their military skills if they are victorious in battle?

Not sure about mercenary leaders. I guess they have their own leader but should be under the command of whoever hired them (Duke or Count or King).

The king would command the troops raised from the royal demesne as I understand it.

Not much detail has really been presented on these points (or maybe I don't remember - its been a long time). :D :)
