Is anyone giving this a go, and care to share your experiences? I've played half a year as Japan and half a year as Israel. Japan has a wicked economy for sure, and I'm interested how modders figure out all these massive variables and what balance they try to achieve. Seems typical so far, of a vast consumer landscape with virtual values being loaned constantly. I'm curious how the current province resources came to be developed. Libya, for instance, has 24 energy pools from Cyrnaica to Tripoli, vast fields of 24 energy, which I eyed rather greedily as Israel, though for no bad purpose, as I was quite shocked that Israel couldn't manage AI trade to max its economy; although, Syria, Egypt, and Iran had no issues maxing theirs'. Even as playing Japan, the Israeli AI couldn't max their trade economy, through some mixture of supply bargaining and consumer goods, Israel able to achieve well over 10 ducats easy on consumer goods.
 
The AI is good? because I, through the event, went to war with China, the US, the United States, and South Korea, wanted to know if the AI of the USA would be capable of making an invasion of the Chinese lands, would AI be capable?

What is the nation that are you playing? The AI is practically standard as in any other mod. An invasion of China is going to require the use of tactical nukes as no Western nation of the NWO -- specifically liberal democracy and fiat financial consumer demand -- has any serious manpower for its military, plus, multiple landings followed with rapid armored advances is just not in the AI to accomplish. Just let their economy fail first, though I'm not sure that kind of economics is possible without being able to declare embargoes. Strangely that never has been a feature although it happens by event I believe, thus the main point, which is that this mod has been uploaded as a template and still requires much more events of that nature.

hello good day, sorry for the inconvenience but detects a problem that exists since the first version of the mod · "Modern Day Scenario" in the game Darkest Hour, which I see is still not solved, the problem was in Bolivia when the left ideology is chosen with "Evo Morales" automatically takes you out of the game, and I try to change the personal one, but he still insists on the problem, it could be the range of the cabinet id but I do not have much knowledge about it.

I just recalled to.mind the various events that The Grand Campaign uses, although created by another modder, that changes the entitlements and welfare that a state taxes out the yingyang for. Simply adding those into this mod would provide the very necessary changes needed to the massive loan bombs and recessions that are ever present since perhaps the 70s. I'm not sure how an AI nation may prefer one option over the other, favoring more money on hand compared to the losses in IC and the bonuses from the tiny increments of medicine, research, and what-not - after all, those bonuses are seriously dated since they were created before mass modern education.
 
Thank You Novapaddy for porting this to 1.05.1! I have a problem however, when I select a nation and the scenario begins to load it crashes at initializing. I turned on extra debug in settings. In my savebug the last line that shows is Mods\MDS2015\db\tech\teams\teams_u80.csv. I thought that maybe I could work around it if I delete all the text inside of it but that didn't work. I also tried deleting the file but it still crashes. Thank You!

Edit - Jumped the gun a little bit. I still had 1.04 but after installing 1.05.1 it started up. Sorry about that.

Could you go into more detail please yok? Was it when you had the darkest hour launcher opened and selected the mod it crashed? Or was it like me and didn't have 1.05.1 installed.
 
Hmm, that's interesting. Not sure about that one. Was there something in your savedebug after it crashed?

i'm guess get it this problem cause when i was completly research "Industry " tab>saving game>quit, after again start the game>singleplayer>saved game and closing itself.... I think there is something "Industry" researches :confused:
 
Good new : i found the problem where is it,
Bad new : i don't know how can i fix it

There is an error db>tech>aircraft_tech. Because when i was complete researches, saving game and quit i can't reopen the saved game. I opened the file and found a type : "#FIX THIS". I deleted this type and saved but it's not a solution again game crashed :(, i tried. Please help me ...
 
Sorry yok but this may be a little over my head for a fix. I think the problem comes from a corruption inside of the save file. I have tried various things and even used winmerge to compare a different savefile to this one. I think it has something to do with the way it reloads countries military scores for example it doesn't load past the UK but other savefiles start there and progess. I'm not sure what it is exactly. If I remember correctly I think this was a problem before. Someone can correct me if I am wrong on this. I'll keep trying various things for a fix when I can think of some new ideas.
