1. I am not in violation of rule 18. I never mentioned drugs.
Perhaps you meant #19...You are not to argue with, comment on or question the actions/authority of the Paradox staff(Admins, Mods etc) in a public forum. Use PM in the first instance.

(what do you mean by "PM"?)

I was not arguing, I was expressing my incredulity. I did make a statement of fact which could have been responded to with hostility, laughter or indifference. However, the I still stand by my statement that a developer of a game is ultimately responsible for its content, even on another platform, as it reflects directly back on the developer. A good example is Bigtime Software, with whom I have been a playtester. They support both platforms and stand by their product. Another example: if Volvo makes cars in America and they are defective, the parent company of Volvo in Sweden is still ultimately responsible. As Harry Truman once said, "The buck stops here".

2. I invoke rule 15...You will respect the rights of other users to have their own opinions.

3. I have contacted VP with no response so far, as per your link.

4. I assumed this forum was established by the designers of the game and therefore hoped to contact someone here to solve programming issues.

5. If I have offended anyone I apologize. It was never my intent to break rules, only to get help. I was looking for friends, not enemies.

6. Perhaps if you were to let me know if you have any other Mac users on the forum, so we can help each other? This would be most appreciated! Isn't that what a forum is for????

Sincerely,

Roger K. Eriksen

(OFFICIAL WARNING)
Since you do not know that PM is Private message, I doubt it would be helpful if I sent a formal warning to you by PM.

Therfore consider this a formal warning!

You are in violation of Rule 19. you obviously have read it, since you quoted it to me above.

Do not open anymore threads on this subject.

"I was not arguing, I was expressing my incredulity"
How is this not a comment or questioning.

Any further violation of board rules may result in a ban from this board.

And as per the sticky Castellon has referred you to, the developers of EU2 Mac are Virtual Programming and the distributors are MacPlay.

As much as we'd like to offer support for the Mac here we can't, since noone from our support staff know the Mac in general nor the EU2 Mac version in particular.

This is the forum of the original developers, who made the Windows version. The Mac version was done by VP, and it is they who can help you with any programming issues you have.
