Here is a little teaser with the help of my colleague Oleg after claiming a complete Batallion + the famous Black Widow company having a home in my Mech Hangar:

((c) picture Oleg Poliakov, several Mechs are inspired by or created by Ron & Randy Perovich and Hans Burkhardt Schlömer)

Hopefully! My Colleague is on vacation now though.. so we need to find a nice sunny day and some overtime.
May I actually post in your thread or would you rather see me open my own?
And do you happen to know a better place to upload those pictures (for free)?

I never understood the fuzz about the MW: DA tripods.. yet you nailed it quite well! Too bad it became too heavy to stand upright on it's own.

How much do you pay in parts per Mech btw? And your main source is Bricklink...or something else?

A short size comparision of the Ares with some other Battlemechs

@scorpnoire Yeah I order my lego bricks from bircklink. The average price for one brick is something around 6to7 Euro Cent

And here are the next two pictures.

Everyone knows the mailed fist:

Very nice :) The only thing that threw me off a bit were all the rattling loose pieces in the first animation.

I had debated that afterward :)

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

My son is a lego maniac and loves watching your builds.

Nice stop motion! Too bad I do not even own a camera...

But still I got the first Lance assembled for your viewing pleasure as static pictures.
Any association with the German postal service is purely.. incidental. ;)

It was basically the last Lance I finished building up to day so I had to use whatever pieces were left over.
(Be glad it is not in children's room camouflage. ;) )

And since we have summer a nice winter camouflage is appropriate.
The quality of those pictures is not really good though...

Those Mechs were built in white because back in the day some pieces (e.g. heads of FS & COM) only existed in white. You can actually see how old those buggers are by the 'yellowing' of the old white plastic.
