Less content in Titanium???

I noticed an AAR of platinum WIF. It showed some early events that I haven't seen in Titanium. One talking about world news and then another event I can't recall at the moment.

Do I have something wrong or were these taken out for some reason?

Yes some unnecessary events (AI bonus, world news, and others) have been deleted to increase the game speed.
