Less Multiplayers in HOI2?

Hi, I noticed there doesn't seem to be much of a community for multiplay like there was for HOI1. Seems like I remember a website and ladders, at least 1 regular game each day of the week, that sort of thing. Is there just less interest, or is everyone waiting for Doomsday?

Actually there are quite a lot of people playing mp hoi2. Check out vnet at 19-21 CET nearly every day. I would probably say more play mp than all of their other games put together.

We use hoiplayers.notlong.com to arrange games. It doesnt seem though that much of the mp crowd will move over to doomsday at least at once due to various reasons.

Its a real pity P doesnt support MP as much as it could.

He has a point HoI1 mp was much more often and mostly games got finished in HoI1 unlike hoi2.

There's no significant difference so far as I can see. I am playing 3 campaigns currently and could play every night of the week if I wanted. The main problem is restraining oneself from doing so...

I wish I could play multiplayer, but connection issues seem to disconnect me after about 2 minutes of play and render my internet connection useless. I am behind a NAT enabled router

I wouldn't mind starting up more multiparty games. Because due to A) Retards on the internet B) Crazy patches from paradox.
Heck I surpass the recommended specifications by a long shot, yet when it gets around to 1940 it takes ages for the game to progress.

some MP's play 38 or 39 scenarios or mods like starfire so as to get into the action more quicklyr.
