How much micromanagement do you think Crusader Kings will require? Will it be as complicated as Victoria or will it be more at the level of HoI or maybe EU2?

I don't know for sure but from the descriptions, it seems it will be more complicated than EU2 and even HoI, of course not like Victoria....which would be a good thing if this micromanagement would enrich the whole medieval experience and feeling

Well aht would you micromanage then, bacause i guess converting the plebs into capitalists is out of the question right ?

;)

Micromanage what? Lots of things is possible. Even if you only stay on the political scene the fact that your realm is composed of several individual 'nations' should give you enough of a challenge keeping it all together and reasonably happy. Internal organization, with laws and decrees aplenty, should also give you a lot to do.

Oooh - lets hope so!

EU2 is boring between wars. CK looks like you will have more to consider between wars but not as detailed micromanagement as Victoria.

I disagree.

EUII had the perfect amount of micromanagement. There are simply too many options in Victoria.

I think the micromanagement will be directed at diplomatically guiding your nation, rather than industrially, as in Vicky, or militarily, as in HoI. Diplomacy is much more fun, lets hope for lots of it. :)

Diplomancy is fun, but even it could be taken to extremes. Just imagine clicking on the diplomacy menu to be presented with a blank scroll of parchment. Options are too limiting, the true micromanager will want to compose his own diplomatic messages so he can get the tone just right.
